Ever since Karen Marie was a child, learning was her favorite pastime; thus, there is no surprise that as an adult, she became a Doctor of Education and considers herself a lifelong learner. As a scholarly practitioner and human resource specialist, Dr. Wagner-Clarke fosters a learning environment and helps others grow and develop personally and professionally. Dr. Wagner-Clarke is an adjunct faculty member at Wilmington University – College of Business. She facilitates courses in four different disciplines: Human Resources Management, Organizational Management, Business Management, and Economics. Dr. Wagner-Clarke also serves as a Technical Editor & Consultant for Trident Proposal Management. She is skilled in writing and editing and is considered a subject matter expert on human resources management, organizational leadership, change management, performance management, strategic management, organizational behavior, corporate culture, training and development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). Recently, Dr. Wagner-Clarke was invited to complete a chapter in an edited textbook with multiple authors that will be published in fall 2022. Dr. Wagner-Clarke received a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership, Learning, and innovation from Wilmington University), a Masters in Human Resources Management (MHRM) from Georgetown University, a Masters in Organizational Leadership w/track in Human Resource Management from Quinnipiac University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Post University. Dr. Wagner-Clarke is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). She holds a senior professional human resource management (SPHR) certificate from Syracuse University, a graduate certification in Human Resource Management from the Malcolm Baldrige School of Business (Post University), an Ethical Leadership Certification from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), and five (5) leadership certifications from Predictive Index. She is an active member of the Wilmington University Organizational Leadership & Innovation (OLI) Doctoral Advisory committee.
