I am the Gifted & Talented Program Coordinator at WPHS. I develop and administer programs and activities that support and challenge academically gifted and talented children. 
In this role, I:
Create a rigorous high school Gifted and Talented program.
Make recommendations to find program-eligible students.
Use assessment data to guide decisions.
Engage gifted students in planning and goal-setting activities.
Support gifted students in conventional classroom learning.
Mentor gifted students to thrive academically and personally.
Guide teachers in differentiating instruction for gifted and talented learners
Design, plan, and manage gifted student extracurriculars, competitions, and events.
Share program progress with parents and guardians.

I taught English language literacy to adolescents in 7th and 8th grade using the Engage New York curriculum resource, Structured English Immersion (SEI) standards, Problem-Based Learning (PBL) concepts via the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS). I used language literacy interventions in learning groups for enrichment and remediation intervention. I collaborated with Administration, Special Education teachers, Speech Pathologist, School Psychologist, School Counselors, and other staff to help students meet individualized educational goals.
I analyzed achievement data to set short term and long term achievement goals.

I utilize the Danielson's Frameworks for Teaching to collaborate and mentor educators for instructional improvements with quantifiable results. 

My school implements multi-tiered behavioral frameworks such as Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) to guide students to measurable academic, behavioral, and social-emotional improvements during the school year. 

My dream is to educate the masses. I am an avid reader of a variety of genres. I love writing and developing courses for my business. I enjoy cycling, learning piano, and home decor.
