My leadership in the Gifted & Talented Program enhances academic excellence for high-potential students. Our team has established a standout program where evidence-based instruction and continuous stakeholder engagement are paramount. Focusing on identifying and nurturing exceptional talent, we’ve empowered educators to tailor their approaches to meet the unique needs of gifted learners, fostering an environment of growth and achievement. My dedication to integrating educational technology, particularly Generative AI, into writing instruction has supported district leadership and instructional teams in implementing ethical and effective generative AI strategies. This effort, along with the school-wide application of the RACER writing strategy, contributes to a notable increase in graduating seniors' performance on high-stakes tests, exemplifying the impact of marrying innovative tools with data-driven instruction. As we move forward, my mission remains to continue advocating for the augmentation of instructional practices with cutting-edge resources to ensure our students are well-prepared for the challenges of the future.
