Responsible for sales of advanced temperature monitoring solutions. Tasked with developing a green territory with strong competitive presence. Took negligible sales prior to 2014 (<$35k) to a track of $1.2MM in early 2016 (average territory sales ranged from $1MM to $2MM).
-Directly responsible for managing technical training of new sales engineers.

-Developed advanced solution messaging company-wide to improve sales across all territories.
-Sold at higher cost based on value to the customer.

Worked on a part-time, on-call basis, as a part of the co-op obligation for an engineering degree. Performed many bench-scale lab tests focused on removing organic compounds from groundwater using synthetic adsorbents. Gained extensive experience analyzing liquid and vapor samples using Gas Chromatography. Provided support in the development of environmental compliance documents for various clients. Spent 12 weeks in Corning, NY as the environmental compliance inspector on a hazardous waste construction site. Responsible for directing segregation of contaminated and hazardous soils, along with being responsible for soil sampling.

Lab/Field Technician

Provided support to Components Engineering preparing various corrective actions in response to changing plant conditions. Provided research and field support to the Issue Response Team during a plant forced outage. Performed walk downs in the field to assess plant concerns and to become familiar with plant operations. Proficient in the use of software specific to Nine Mile Point. Returned to the plant for a final Co-Op from May 20th to August 23rd, 2013.

Components Engineering Co-Op / Technician

US Army National Guard

Primary duty while stateside was to train fellow soldiers in weapons marksmanship. Was responsible for training over 300 soldiers annually in rifle and pistol marksmanship, with a pass rate of over 95%. Expert qualifications held for all US Army small arms. Performed over 250 funeral and memorial services with the Military Forces Honor Guard, and trained several soldiers to do the same. Held secret clearance for duration of enlistment.

Responsible for the distribution of ammunition to over 6,000 troops in combat operations while deployed to Afghanistan. Managed 3 to 4 soldiers at any given time. Provided convoy security as a turret gunner, along with base security as a tower guard.

NanoPower Research Labs

Researched and developed Lithium Ion Pouch Cell Batteries. Fabricated batteries with state-of-the-art performance, and built a means to support testing in an inert environment. Presented research at the Undergraduate Research Symposium which was held at the Rochester Institute of Technology in August, 2011. The presentation was awarded "Best in Session" for the category of Chemistry and Materials Science.
