I’m an ex-bartender – Miami Beach, The Hamptons - and what I know about people I learnt slinging drinks. Later, I landed at the Guardian, where I had the privilege to pick up the phone and create commercial partnerships where none existed before. Leading teams, designing products and selling them to the likes of Google, Vodafone and the United Nations. Over the last decade, I’ve led the training company I founded, True & North, anchored on a simple truth: Good things happen when you 'get’ your clients. Our training is used by smart organizations - incl. Samsung, Meta and Publicis - to prepare for, deliver and protect their most important client conversations. Our hands-on workshops bring together the creative toolkit of Design Thinking and the rigour of Consultative Sales to give all profiles of people the steps, language and guardrails they need to consistently drive growth.
