As a Principal Software Engineer, I work on challenging and complex projects that sometimes require reverse engineering, debugging, and performance optimization of legacy and unsupported code as much as it does new projects starting from zero. With many years of experience in full stack software development, architecture, and leadership, I have learned a wide range of technologies and frameworks, such as GoLang, Python, C, NodeJS, Ruby, Rust, C#, Java, F#, C++/COM+, SQL, and cloud native design. My mission is to move humanity forward by creating tech that the free market cannot ignore, and to mentor and empower other engineers on my team to do the same. I have expertise in big data, distributed systems, security, and CI/CD, and I have worked on projects ranging from IoT to serverless architectures and nationally critical infrastructure. I have also obtained certifications in key mental shifts for servant leadership and working with others, which reflect my values of service, transparency, inclusion, and compassion. I am fully remote from Seattle WA on PST time, and I cannot accept non-remote roles due to family reasons. I would prefer to be long-term at a place instead of a short term contractor as I've noticed that it makes it harder to create meaningful connections when you're a contractor.
