I'm a self-taught marketing manager in a fast-growing disability service start-up eco-system aka AHG Accelerator 😉 My current passion: starting a business focused on assistive technology and launching an accessible sex toy - because all bodies deserve pleasure. After securing funding and releasing our first product to the market, we are now focused on a seed raise and pursuing a growth strategy. Key lesson: Invest your time now into learning something new. I was working in a concrete plant and studying part-time (10 years!). I completed my Bachelor of Psychology with a Double Major in Children and Family Support at Edith Cowan University and then pivoted into marketing. All the skills I needed to get my first role I had learnt through free online courses and practising on my own projects including The Investor Project, WA Whisky, WA Spirits, and SuM Design. I built the websites, created social media profiles, wrote content, studied SEO, etc. Now I'm building a business.
