I have spent 25 years in the financial services industry. Having held leadership roles in Technology, Sales and Product development gives me a unique perspective. For the past 7 years I have focused on the domain of Data, covering Strategy, Product and Industry Practitioner. I have created and delivered some leading industry products, such as DataCare for SimCorp, a fully managed Data Service, delivering market data to Front to Back systems. I was also responsible for creating the DataMesh within HSBC Securities Services, the first Asset Servicing “Data as a Service” solution in the cloud in production and assisting clients. I am equally comfortable delivering a product vision to C Suite boards or discussing the underlying technical nuances of a design decision with development teams. My strength is bridging the gap between technology and the business, allowing business teams to understand how innovative data solutions can help them differentiate their product offerings. I focus on building high performing teams within each product, challenging the team to grow and succeed their goals, using the Agile techniques to empower them to improve. Having undertaken projects throughout Europe, Middle East, Far East and North America I have a global perspective on financial services, whilst also gaining great exposure to different cultures and approaches within the industry. I have worked with clients that have included 5 of the top 10 investment managers in the UK, as well as working with several of the top 5 global investment managers. My passion is to create products that are truly innovative within the world of Financial Services Data.
