Created and produced 4 storytelling commercials for York University’s marketing campaign: #YUDiscover 

Generated a specific campaign treatment for the marketing and advertising directors using insights from qualitative and quantitative research focused around increasing brand loyalty and perception

Directly involved with videography, editing, sound mixing, casting, budgeting and scheduling for all the videos

2 videos have been published on all social media platforms and have 12k+ views each; among the highest viewed videos in the entire catalogue and boosted positive community engagement on all social media platforms by approximately 12%

Digital Content Creator

Successfully rebuilt online assets of the collage and focused on enhancing the user experience and branding

Facilitated and launched an annual marketing plan with 35% of the overall budget; always stayed under budget

Launched advertisements (videos and print); views and engagement increased by +120%

Skillfully redesigned a new logo and methodically focused on optimizing UX and UI and increasing SEO when restructuring the website

Co-designed ‘Orientation week’ clothing and welcome kits for 500 new students and 100 volunteers

Collaborated with a clothing manufacturer to create college apparel: Surpassed set KPI's created 4 sold-out lines within 2 years

Hey, I'm Dylan D'Lima 👋

Canadian-Indian raised and fuelled by a passion for storytelling and my journey has been interesting.

While my Bachelor in Kinesiology from York University might suggest a path into health and rehab - my Canon DSLR had other plans for me.

While at York University, I created their top-viewed video series, which confirmed that I must pursue a career in the exciting world of content creation.

In 2017, I traded snowy roads for Madrid's sun and sangrias, diving into a Master's in Visual and Digital Media. I graduated in 2018 and it was topped off with a 3rd place prize at the IE Prizes for Humanities in the video category (I think I should have been 1st).

Today? 
I'm the Senior Associate Director of Content and Communications at IE Business School, where I join strategy + content + comms with the latest digital trends.
