Back 2 Viz Basics (#B2VB) is a Bi-weekly challenge to help anyone develop and practice their data visualization skills. While I was a member of the leadership team we released 42 challenges, maintaining a biweekly cadence with breaks for summer and holidays. While the challenge started with the Tableau community, it grew to include Power BI and Flourish users also. #B2VB is a fantastic portfolio builder and has been instrumental in helping many of our participants land new or better jobs in the data visualization field.

Prospect Research is qualitative and quantitative Business Intelligence and Strategy for the Nonprofit Fundraising world. In five years, I led a transformation of how my department approached its work. I designed, launched, and trained fundraisers on a tool that allowed them to see their lead portfolios in real time - for the first time! Then, I overhauled the rest of the teams' reporting processes, allowing the fundraisers and their supervisors to track a streamlined set of KPIs daily instead of four times per year - while building trust and transparency at all levels.
