I’m a content strategist, philosopher, & writer. Here’s my story: → 18 years of studying Daoism (I read the Dao De Jing for the first time when I was 12) → 15 years of practicing Tai Chi (I started when I was 15) → Degree in Sinology (with a focus on Daoism) But for the past 5+ years, I've worked as a content strategist, so what happened? As a content strategist, I had the chance to: → Run a 1:1 coaching service → Supervise and train 6 team members → Advise start-ups in different industries → Build my freelance and online business → Strategize and lead growth for multiple companies → Mentoring entrepreneurs and companies in the US, UK, Germany, & Denmark While this experience was focused on content strategy, it’s an important experience that shaped my journey. Because I had the chance to work with leaders and executives. And this experience showed me that leaders don’t need marketing strategies. They need self-cultivation. Because most leaders know what they do and how to achieve success. But they don’t know how to: - Find and keep inner peace - Cultivate self-awareness - Balance their emotions - Clear their mind - Calm down - Let go And do all of that sustainably. Self-cultivation is not about 10-minute meditations in the morning (sometimes) and then diving deep into stress for 12 hours a day. But about cultivating a balanced mental state. Self-cultivation is not for solving symptoms such as stress or anxiety. It’s not even for solving the root of the problem. It's about preventing problems from occurring. Yes, it’s a long-term game.
