President and CEO

As the President and CEO of the Kingstar Group of companies, I have championed the strategic direction and growth of successful businesses in the marketing and media industry for over 25 years. With an entrepreneurial mindset and creative vision, I have helped launch and build several leading brands across multiple platforms, delivering high returns on investment for our clients and partners.

My areas of expertise include marketing communications, creative direction, and performance marketing, which I have honed through extensive experience and education from the best practices and insights of global leaders and peers. My mission is to leverage my expertise and credentials to create innovative and impactful campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion for our products and services.

It was an honour to be covered in the Chief Executive Group publication! The advertising world changes quickly, and I discuss how Kingstar has adapted and evolved over the last three decades. 

When we first started, Direct Response TV was our sole focus. It was a world of longer infomercials, where we helped brands like Slap Chop and Sham Wow become household names through these lengthy spots. 

The fun part of DRTV was that you didn’t have to wait long to see if anyone took action because of your message. People would just call the phone number in the ad.  

While marketing measurement has become more complex, those early days laid the foundation for everything we’re doing today:

Create the message. Deploy the message. Measure response. Modify and re-deploy. 

The one thing that has never changed with Kingstar is our philosophy that buying paid media should drive direct, measurable returns - which sustain profitable re-investment. We are a PERFORMANCE media company first! 

I’m proud of how our team has continuously evolved to deliver on that promise. Our talented analytics team is able to measure direct lift from all our media buys, and we’ve also built in-house expertise in increasingly important channels like CTV (streaming), online video, paid social, and digital OOH. 

What’s next? We’re laser focused on emerging technological trends that can give our clients an edge. We’re constantly exploring new audience platforms, the effectiveness of new channels, and opportunities to utilize advancements in AI to improve personalization, planning, and efficiency.
