Managed purchased transportation activities to supplement asset-based coverage by reviewing new carrier and broker contracts.
Developed brokerage services division, Towne Air Brokerage, LLC, to provide non-asset based solutions earning over $10,000 in commissions between August 2014 and January 2015.

Central Dispatch and Business Development

Recruited and trained outside sales staff and transportation coordinators to offer expedited LTL service between California and Florida. Established new lanes into Texas, the midwest, and the northeast.  Expanded coverage area through regional LTL carrier negotiations and developed partnerships with niche trucking companies.

I have enjoyed working in the transportation and supply chain industries most of my career.  Now I eagerly assist America's largest companies in reducing freight damages, improving employee safety, and helping them meet their sustainability benchmarks.  I am a grad student at IUSB as well and spend my free time volunteering and promoting community events in South Bend, IN.
