Eddie Merritt's Linkedin Analytics

I am a Sports Business graduate from Liverpool John Moores University. holding a 1st Class Bachelor's Degree. and a track record of success in the sportswear industry. During my 13-month internship at Gymshark, I led consumer research initiatives that influenced key decisions across various departments including Brand, Marketing, Digital Product, Product Management and Development, Merchandising and Retail. This experience equipped me with a deep understanding of consumer-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration. I have also worked on projects with the likes of Nike, Adidas, and Gymshark which aimed at understanding the product creation process of sportswear and how these brands work with athletes to create products. During and after completing my degree, I worked for a start-up marketing and creative agency, Butterfly 3ffect, where I continued to develop my skills in various roles but most recently as Partnership/Account Executive. In June 2024, I joined New Balance in their Category Merchandising team looking after Accessories and Kids Apparel licenses in EMEA, where I am responsible for driving commercial growth in these categories.
