What an incredible few busy days in Berlin!
It all began with our inaugural Nova Heart Training & Education workshop at Charité, led by Prof. Ovrutskiy in collaboration with clinicians from German hospital clinics. The exchange of expertise and clinical insights set the perfect tone for what was to come. 🎓

The following day, we were proud to support the Lange anniversary symposium, which showcases how far cardiac medicine has advanced – from interventional cardiology evolving into mainstream therapy that often replaces surgery, to groundbreaking discussions on heart failure management in congenital defects and personalized cardiac modelling. 💡

On the Nova Heart stand, we had the privilege of demonstrating GE HealthCare new Pioneer system & Philips echo machines with the Nova Heart software delivering hands-on demonstrations. Cardiologists experienced firsthand the seamless workflow integration between Nova Heart and the echo systems, connecting with brilliant clinicians across the DACH region. 🌟

While navigating some serious family health matters these past few weeks participating in the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) in Frankfurt over the past few days – where nations come together once every four years at different locations around the world– has been truly uplifting.
Seeing how different countries are keen to embrace AI innovations in physiology and medical education I find remarkable. 

It's inspiring to see first hand educators from the six continents of the world moving forward with genuine excitement about transforming how we teach medicine. We received wonderful feedback from the participants!

Thank you to my colleague Dr Aaron Smith for stepping to present practical workshop and a wonderful IUPS organizing committee for such an outstanding event.  

We are also proud to be supporting the IUPS Educational Satellite workshop in Lowenstein this week and welcoming nations from all over the world to experience our innovative physiology solutions for medical education.

20 years ago, I moved from pills to procedures—and never looked back. 🫀
Don't get me wrong—pharmaceuticals save lives every day. But there's something different about being IN the room when it happens.

In pharma, I get 10 minutes with doctors between patients if I was lucky. In med devices I was in  there with clinicians in the cath lab as it happens, working alongside them to transform patient outcomes.

As my career evolved into leadership roles, something became clear—while managing teams meant less time in the field, I never forgot that clinicians are the true lifeblood of our industry. They drive innovation through their insights, and ultimately, they're the ones transforming patient lives.

This week reminded me exactly why staying connected to the frontlines matters, especially as we enter the era of AI-enabled MedTech.

This week we've been activating clinics across Baden-Württemberg region of Germany with Nova Heart, building an AI-powered ecosystem that will revolutionize pediatric cardiology. This isn't just another product launch—it's the  #MedTech industry transitioning to intelligent, adaptive solutions that learn and evolve with each patient they help.

Tomorrow at Charité Berlin, we'll be running our first Nova Heart workshop, training the current generation of clinicians on technology that will define the next decade of cardiac care.

To everyone who has made this milestone possible—from our world class software teams to our clinical partners—thank you. Together, we're not just selling devices; we're architecting the future of healthcare. 🙏
