While a growth mindsetโ€”the belief that we can change and improveโ€”is necessary, it's not sufficient. Sustainable transformation requires shifting mindsets, habits, and systems that shape daily behavior. To overcome chronic performance mode (executing without experimenting, reflecting, or debriefing), organizations must harmonize the Performance Zone (the ways we execute) with the Learning Zone (the ways we improve).
