Dr. Ed Wang has played leadership roles at several international organizations related to education accreditation, capacity building and training of next generation of engineers. He leads a review board of the 2023, 2018 and 2015 International Professional Engineers Alliance, providing training and technical assistance to various tertiary education institutions around the Asian Region and Australia. Ed draws on more than 25 years of education, engineering, and management experience in the government, academic, and private sectors and has worked as a project manager, department head, discipline manager, author, marketer, sole proprietor, professor, and dean of academic affairs. Representative clients include: T.Y. Lin Internationals, etc. He possesses a strong leadership and expertise on multi-sector policy coordination. Dr. Wang is a registered Professional Engineer in California (No.59308) and a registered Structural Engineer in Illinois (No. 081005767). He acted as a senior consultant on various educational reform projects. He is the author or co-author of hundreds of publications and presentations and has facilitated or presented workshops, seminars, webinars, and meetings throughout the U.S. and Taiwan. He is a Fellow of ASCE.
