I launched SoundSight Magazine in August 2023. SoundSight Mag is an online publication covering independent and distinctive songwriters, sounds, and scenes for the ECLECTIC listener!

I work with a freelance writer, and write most of the content myself.

Founder & Editor

I started writing about music while studying my MA at The London College of Music in 2020, being writer and then chief editor for the university's student music magazine The MNGR (which has now ceased operations). Since then I have been writing freelance, with some articles published in a number of online publications including Alternative Press, Pipeline Artists, and Rave Report (to name a few). I also write and design press releases for private musician and artist clients.

Helping to construct and deconstruct staging, set, lighting, sound and video rigs as well as general assistance with loading and unloading equipment.

Anglo Singapore International School

English and homeroom teacher for 2.5 academic years at Anglo Singapore International School, teaching English to students at primary level (years 3-6). Main duties included planning and teaching 22 English classes per week and also developing classroom teaching resources and materials for the English curriculum. Ongoing formative assessments were conducted throughout the year including weekly vocabulary tests, homework assessments and termly exams. Class sizes were small (5-15 students) and students were typically of Thai and Chinese nationality, with some Korean and Japanese students.

International Community School (ICS London)

English teacher for 8 weeks at ICS summer school in central London, in the summer of 2016. Main responsibilities included extensive planning & preparation of English classes across a varied curriculum encompassing many themes from art to science. In this position I was creating teaching materials and methodologies myself and with the collaboration of my teaching assistant and other teachers in professional development meetings. I taught classes of various ages ranging from 10-20 years and class sizes were between 9-18 per class. I taught a variation of levels up to Intermediate but mostly at elementary level. Student’s nationalities varied from all around the world but mainly consisted of Arabic, European and East Asian nationalities. ICS is a well renowned British Council accredited international school in central London.
