My twin passions have always been people and finance. In 2011, I took a giant leap from a great job in the banking industry to start my own business: the Earlwood & Marrickville Branches of Yellow Brick Road. I love spending my days helping people on the path to fulfilling their financial goals, whether that’s buying their first property or downsizing to a comfortable retirement. As a mortgage broker, my goal is to give everyone the chance to achieve the Great Aussie Dream of owning their own home. But I don’t just help people obtain home finance – I also have extensive experience in all aspects of finance, including small business, commercial finance, SMSFs, car finance, leasing and equipment and personal loans. Along with maintaining my professional and technical expertise, I also have a responsibility to my clients to get to know them really well and keep them on track with expert advice and genuine care. I love educating people on how to manage their finances and coaching them towards their goals. It is a responsibility I take seriously and practice every day. I also believe in giving back to the community. It’s a tradition that started with my father, who owned the corner shop that is now home to the YBR Earlwood office. I love meeting local people and talking about their passion for the area. In my spare time, I volunteer with the elderly and support charities, including White Ribbon, Her Heart, and sponsor the Marrickville PCYC Nations of Origin Youth Program. I also participated in the 100kms Marathon to raise much needed funds to help Premature Babies have a better chance of survival. I am a firm believer in helping other professionals meet their goals. As the chair of YBR Group Women in Finance initiative, I connect with many inspiring women and share my experience as a business owner and professional. I have been recognised for my commitment to living the values of the YBR network.
