His varied responsibilities over the last 2 decades have provided him with a unique insight into diverse interconnected aspects of global commodity economics, logistics, process & risk management and technologies to manage these multi dimensional and complex ecosystems. He has managed multiple products, businesses, regional portfolios and chaired Risk Mgmt, Human Resources, Corporate Governance and Sustainability committees in his leadership role at the Phoenix Group, actively contributing to its transformation into one of the worlds leading Agri businesses (second largest Rice business in the world) employing over 4,000 people across 30 offices globally, with annual revenues growing from USD 50 Mn to over USD 3 Bn, in a span of 15+ years. He was pivotal in spearheading the digital drive of the group and instrumental in developing innovative cutting edge models and tools to process Big Data emanating out of hundreds of purchase and sales points in more than 30 countries, across multiple currencies and wide product portfolios - with an aim to achieve data transparency, integrity, traceability and governance. His contribution to Global Agri Trade been recognized by various forums and governments in South Asia and Africa, towards building sustainable and future-ready trade practices and addressing global food security concerns.
