Elaine Claire is a passionate advocate for the underserved. Even before her graduation in 2016, she was drawn to championing for the marginalized. Her dedication led her to receive the Volunteer of the Month award twice at the Institute of Mental Health. By 2018, she was part of the Singapore Kindness Movement's "Be Greater" campaign, standing up for migrant workers via the initiative ItsRainingRaincoats. By the following year, she was a special needs community ambassador, representing the community at The Purple Parade. I am more than just an advocate; I am a beacon for mental health, special needs, and the low-income communities. Professionally, Elaine flourishes in Events Management, Corporate Communications, and Behavioral Studies. She's been an integral part of executive committees at ACRES and Special Olympics, leading major events such as the F1 Singapore Grand Prix and the VSA True Colors Festival. Her involvement with the Special Olympics National Games Committee since 2017 has also shaped her into an educator. Presently, She is setting her sights on content development for special needs individuals aged 18 and above, recognising a significant gap in Singapore’s educational offerings. My mission is clear : bridge the divide between mental health and special needs, reducing societal stigmas.
