The company was established in 2014 and commercialized its automated insulin delivery to Medtronic Diabetes, which recently received CE mark. •	Represented the rights and needs of the students in front of the university's management, municipality, and government ministries and agencies.

I created a startup that’s dedicated to revolutionizing the way salespeople work, and how they perform.

In my experience of 20 years leading teams in the navy, NGO and SaaS companies, I learned how hard it is to be a salesperson. I’ve also witnessed how organizations, especially in the B2B space, are wearing salespeople down with guidelines, tasks and administrative work. 

I created WINN to release salespeople from unnecessary work and focus them on the one thing they should be focused on: winning deals.

Sometimes I wish I was a bigger asshole as a CEO.

Less emotional. More blunt. Faster to “no.”
It sounds easier. Cleaner. Less noise.

But here’s what I’ve learned:

* Feelings aren’t the problem. Fog is.
* Clear standards beat hard edges.
* Kind doesn’t mean soft. It means direct without drama.

What I try to do instead:

1. Say the hard thing, plainly
“This isn’t good enough yet.” Then explain why and what “good” looks like.

2. Separate care from consensus
I can respect you and still overrule you. Both can be true.

3. Protect the mission, not my mood
Decisions serve the goal, not my stress level.

4. Hold the line on performance
High bar. Fair process. No surprises.

5. Keep my empathy, set stronger boundaries
Available, not absorbent. I listen. I don’t carry.

6. Choose consequences over hints
Expectations without follow-through are wishes.

What I’m done with:

* Sugarcoating feedback
* Endless “quick syncs”
* Rewarding heroics over reliable work
* Letting urgency replace priority

Do I still feel a lot? Yes.
Do I need to be an asshole to lead well? No.

I need to be clear, consistent, and a little braver in the moment.

Entrepreneurship in any and all fields – Technological; Social; Political; et al. – is in my DNA, and I have had the chance to launch many types of new ventures.

As the first COO of DreaMed Diabetes, I - along with the teams I built from the ground up - was responsible for the company’s initial commercialization efforts (Sales, Marketing, Customer service, and CSM).

Prior to helping launch DreaMed, I focused on Value Creation at OurCrowd – a company which enables accredited investors to join top VCs, Angel Investors and Strategic Partners in accessing fully vetted deals.

In addition, I founded two NGOs (Shavot and The Sky is the Limit); served as the Hebrew University Student Union's Chairman; and am a proud veteran Naval Officer.

Let’s talk about founder jealousy.

It’s real. It’s common. And it can mess with your head.

You see a raise you didn’t get.
A logo you wanted.
A headline you hoped for.
Suddenly their win feels like your loss. It isn’t.

Here’s what helps me handle it:

1. Name it
   “Yep, that’s jealousy.” Saying it out loud takes away some power.

2. Ask why it stings
   Is it money? Status? Speed? Be specific. When you name the gap, you can plan the work.

3. Turn it into a question
   “What did they do that I can try?” Learn one concrete thing. DM them if you can.

4. Reset your scoreboard
   Pick three metrics you control this quarter. Track only those. Hide the rest.

5. Build a small circle
   Two or three founder friends you can text when the envy hits. Share the messy stuff.

6. Do one tiny move
   Ship a page. Email a customer. Book a call. Action beats scrolling.

A few simple rules I keep:

* Celebrate others in public, do the comparison in private.
* Don’t compare your year 2 to their year 7.
* If a post makes you feel worse, mute it for a while. It’s fine.
* Remember: quiet progress doesn’t trend, but it compounds.

Jealousy will show up. That’s human.
What you do next is the part that builds the company.

Promoting women isn’t a side project for us. It’s how we run the company.

Here’s why:
* It’s fair. Talent shouldn’t stall because of bias.
* It makes us better. Mixed leadership sees risks earlier and makes stronger calls.
* It changes culture. When women advance, more people speak up and stay.

This isn’t theory. It’s practice:
* Regular pay reviews to close gaps.
* Flexibility and leave policies that don’t punish parents.
* Zero tolerance for bias in reviews and meetings- call it out, fix it.
* We set targets and publish progress. No spin.

Are we perfect? No. We still miss things. But we keep checking the data, listening, and improving.

Why it matters: when women rise, teams win, products improve, and people trust the place they work.

That’s the company we want. And that’s the standard we’re holding ourselves to.

How I kept standards high on a navy ship for 2.5 years

Life at sea is loud, cramped, and tiring. Standards slip fast if you let them. Here’s what actually worked for me and my team.

1. Make the bar visible
We wrote down what “good” looks like. Checklists on doors. Photos of correct setups. No guessing.

2. Start with small, daily reps
Five-minute drills. Clean a station. Test a pump. Brief the watch. Quality is a habit, not an event.

3. Brief, execute, debrief
Before: one clear objective.
During: calm comms, no side chats.
After: what went well, what broke, what changes tomorrow. Every time.

4. Own the last 5%
We didn’t stop at “works.” Cables tied. Logs complete. Gear stowed. The last 5% is what fails under stress.

5. Rotate roles
Everyone taught someone. Cross-training killed bottlenecks and excuses.

6. Praise in public, correct in private
Credit was loud. Corrections were quiet, specific, and tied to the standard.

7. Prepare for tired brains
Labels, color codes, and simple SOPs. At 0300, clarity wins.

8. Protect the basics
Sleep when you can. Hydrate. Eat real food. Fitness at least 20 minutes. Tired teams cut corners.

9. Hold real consequences
Miss a standard? We fixed it fast and logged it. Patterns had follow-ups, not speeches.

10. Keep one ritual
We had a short daily huddle at the same time. Weather, tasks, risks. It kept us synced.

What I learned: high standards aren’t about being tough. They’re about being clear, consistent, and calm, especially when the sea gets rough.
