I'm an established writer, author, award-winning blogger, editor and mental health advocate. I'm the author of books 'Bring me to Light' and 'Arabella and the Worry Cloud', Top 10 UK mental health blogger at beurownlight.com and freelance content writer/journalist specialising in health, news and lifestyle. I am currently working freelance as Digital Communications Lead for EcoJudaism, environmental charity. I have also worked in Digital Communications for various charities including Jewish Women's Aid, The Together Plan, Muscular Dystrophy UK and the Judith Trust- with extensive experience in content creation and managing social media channels. The book of my life story for awareness, 'Bring me to Light: Embracing my bipolar and social anxiety' (with Trigger Publishing) is out now. It was listed as a Top 10 book by Bipolar UK charity. I wrote it to help others feel less alone and to dispell myths about mental illness. My first children's picture book 'Arabella and the Worry Cloud', about a little girl with anxiety, is out now on Amazon. It has been endorsed by No Panic and Bipolar UK and is illustrated by Shelley The Artist. My award-winning mental health blog, Be Ur Own Light, www.beurownlight.com is 9 years old and read globally. I blog about my experiences and work with guest bloggers, charities, brands and businesses to provide content and battle stigma. The blog has been recognised as a Top 10 UK Mental health blog by Vuelio for the past 6 years, which is an honour! As a freelance journalist since 2018, I write articles mainly for Metro.co.uk, Glamour and Happiful magazine and charities and organisations.
