Staffing shortage. Employees retention. Overall happiness and quality of the environment. We all have to face these problems in restaurants, sooner or later. Some of those can be so annoying that we forget other people have problems too. Then employees, co-workers and peers become robots or numbers, instead of human being. So we end up being less caring, loving and attentive than how we could be. Happens and it's not your fault! We never got the chance to learn how to be better in school. But this is a particularly important topic in the Hospitality industry (and for personal growth), both for the wellbeing of the environment and for clients retention (and sales). I've worked in the HOSPO industry for almost 15 years and I've been a marketer, studying psychology and human behavior for 5 years now. Those two combined experiences got me to the point where I want to share what I've learned and become with people of the industry, to address problems and create solutions that benefit owners and employees.
