Having lived in London for thirteen years, I am bi-lingual both culturally and linguistically. Study at Shalem College has both fired my intellectual curiosity generally and has also particularly focused and developed my interest in Israel, its identity and its place in the world. In my national service and other voluntary activities, I believe that I have demonstrated a talent for working with and motivating both adults and children. In all places of education I have attended I believe that I have been seen as contributing in an active and positive way to the environment on both a social and educational level. In my work in the commercial sector, both at Israel’s largest international law firm; a medium sized retail chain and one of Israel’s leading advertising agencies, I have shown that I can use those same skills to real effect in the business work place. Although I have greatly enjoyed the voluntary work which I have carried out, I have decided that I want to develop a management career in the commercial sector.
