A nerd without glasses (until now at least). Since 2016 colleagues and clients keeps calling me an SEO consultant, but in reality, I'm an "SEO nerd." I love numbers, patterns and I have a strong affinity to spot and solve bugs / problems. In short, I'm nerdy enough to tell you that.. you could be one of the 80% of people who don't update the copyright-year on their website footer 😀 <The Tech Stuff - P.Q.A. method> The P.Q.A. (Personal Quick Audit) is a technical and usability analysis of a site. With that is simpler for me to find problems that can limit traffic and conversions. I use this method to get data to work with in the initial stage of a project. It's my "phase zero" to have an overview of a website as a whole. This is, in short, how it develops: 1- The Tech pre-analysis 🖥 After the first check online, I run a Screaming Frog crawl. In the meantime prepare the spreadsheet that will analyse the results. This is fundamental because it cuts down the work thanks to automations. (as a good nerd I love to automate everything I can automate) 2- The Report 📑 When the crawl is complete, I put up a report that highlights: – Current problems & possible solutions – Potential and opportunities for the future of the website – Comparisons with the market and competitors 3- The SEO Consultancy 🤓 Based report's results, the objectives of the company and the website as a whole, this is the next step. The end goal is to improve website's organic and/or paid traffic and optimise its conversions. <What's next> If this is something that intrigues you, feel free to contact me.
