Between Cégep and University, I took the opportunity to apply my business-related skills in a fully Spanish- speaking environment during a summer internship in Mexico, where I was part of the sales and event management team at the Fairmont Mayakoba. During this internship, I was thankful to develop and maintain relationships with many local suppliers. Apart from organizing weddings during that summer, I was also in charge of pitching the hotel's venues and services to future clients and suppliers. As a result of this experience, I was thankful to gain sales experience in a fully Spanish speaking environment and understand the subtilities of a successful VIP customer experience.
