In my role, I lead a talented team of solution architects, providing the direction, support, and leadership they need to thrive. Together, we craft innovative, tailored solutions that empower HR leaders and organizations to navigate their most pressing challenges with confidence and clarity.

A core part of my work involves collaborating closely with our sales team to deliver impactful solutions that align with client needs and goals. Whether it’s helping HR leaders reimagine their people strategy or designing custom content based on SHRM’s proven BASK framework, we ensure every engagement is meaningful, relevant, and actionable for audiences around the world.

Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I actively seek opportunities to bridge teams and ideas across our organization, always with the goal of better serving the HR professionals we support. By connecting people, insights, and solutions, I strive to elevate the value we bring to our clients and the broader HR community.

Ultimately, my focus is on making a difference, both as a leader for my team and as a partner to our customers, by delivering expertise and experiences that drive transformation and success.

With the introduction of Advisory Services, my role now taps into my greatest strengths as a business and strategy advisor with an emphasis in the talent, IE&D and L&D practice areas of HR.

Our team leverages proprietary tools and expert consultants (like me!) to assess HR effectiveness and alignment to business strategy, with the intent to elevate the function and deepen its credibility and impact.

Recognizing the critical nature HR plays in the employee experience and, ultimately, the ability to foster productive and safe work environments, we don't just turn to best practices. We also introduce and counsel on next practices thanks to the depth of global, regional and local research from SHRM.

As a senior consultant, I am the soothing extension of your HR leadership team, offering a reassuring and confident voice and direction to your strategy.

My position includes public speaking (workshop facilitation, keynotes, panel moderation/inclusion, guest lecturer, etc.), strategy development (SWOT, PESTLE, logic models, etc.), strategy alignment (prioritization matrix, assessments, benchmarking, journey mapping), and advising (custom research, learning journeys, case studies, and more).

After serving as a volunteer leader with SHRM for more than 9 years, I now leverage the services, products and resources they offer within the business community to create best-in-class workplaces and HR teams.

My role as an architect is to partner with organizations on creating customized packages that align with the strategic goals of the company to deliver modern and progressive employment practices. Entrepreneurship has been burning in my belly since I was old enough to count.

Often times, start-up founders begin with a fiery, passionate idea and build a business around it. With LevelNext, I went the opposite direction. I knew I wanted to build something with lasting legacy, but needed to search for the idea first.

After analyzing the impact of my own career successes and failures, I found a pattern of mentors who were there through it all. Some mentors found me, and some didn't even know I had bestowed the title upon them. 

I also knew, after almost 2 decades in HR, companies were often ill-equipped to create, execute and sustain effective mentorship programs which meant the responsibility (opportunity?) is falling on individuals to proactively manage their career.

The final realization came when I researched the impact mentors are having on the advancement of women, minorities and other underrepresented groups within their careers. 

It became clear I had the personal experience, knowledge and network to build a global marketplace for ambitious professionals to connect with incredible mentors - And that's just what I'm doing.

As the founder and CEO, I'm leveraging my own mentors and advisors to develop the skills and wisdom needed to scale a successful tech company in a wildly competitive environment. Poetic, don't you think?

After years of coaching individuals to develop their personal brands, and working with non-profits to build a brand strategy, my career is taking a pivot from HR practitioner into digital branding.

With a background of 15 years as an HR professional, I am obsessed with the role HR plays within the business. In this role, I have the opportunity to create and deliver our end to end digital marketing and brand strategy in partnership with our Chief Digital Officer.

Identifying the value proposition - both internally and externally - is a crucial component of my role. We want our clients to be raving fans who experience the highest quality of service, expertise and value. 

So what does my job look like?

I wish everyone had a job they loved as much as I loved this one!

As a part of our executive management team, I oversaw all people strategy and operations with a focus on recruiting, onboarding, development and rewards/recognition strategies and execution. My team also included HR, payroll, benefits and training.

Not to make you jealous, but here is a list of only a few things I loved about what I did:

1. I got to pull from my expertise and past experience as an HR practitioner, but had a team to help execute most of the tactical elements of our department. It takes a village, after all.

2. I worked with inspiring people who have incredible industry tenure and are known within the industry as the elite! We become what we surround ourselves with, right?

3. The values and people strategy were at the top of the list anytime we made decisions, big or small. We knew our guiding compass which created shared purpose.

4. Our company was a leading innovator in the travel industry and invested in people AND technology. 

5. The ability to impact the growth of our company was already hella tight, but having the chance to influence an entire industry was off-the-chain LIT!

You won't find another event as unique as DisruptHR. Our half-day events include ten 5 minute talks, rapid fire. 20 slides that auto transition every 15 seconds. A power keynote. An emcee with more energy than a caffeinated squirrel. Food and drink - including the taboo libations for those who dare!

This is one of the brightest spots in my career! After years as an HR professional, I decided to pivot and move into a sales and business development role. As a small company, there were few resources for training, but I was energized at the opportunity to forge my own path.

I quickly became a top performer, taking ownership over a full desk. This meant I was responsible for negotiating my own contracts, securing my own projects, and doing the sourcing and recruiting to fulfill my own job orders. In essence, I was running my own small business within the business. 

This position taught me how to build and leverage a network, the importance of personal brand and what it means to "eat what you kill". I discovered my drive to achieve and felt encouraged and energized by the incredible people I worked with. 

One of the highlights of my time with this company was having the opportunity to build a new practice area (HR) which proved to be a new and profitable revenue stream for the company. I worked with executives and became fluent with the landscape of business in the region.

Director of Recruiting - HR and Administrative Support

This was my first experience reporting directly to the CEO. I was a strategic generalist supporting a blend of R&D, manufacturing and sales environments. This was also my first opportunity to manage the work of others and develop direct leadership skills within my department.

I loved the freedom to experiment and try new things in this role. We built some exciting programs within wellness which resulted in being recognized Nationally for the impact it had on culture, engagement and benefit costs.

During my last year, I worked with the executive team and board of directors to prepare for an IPO. I learned valuable lessons about the financial side of business. Within my tenure I had made my education and development a priority, successfully obtaining my PHR and SPHR certifications.

Solely responsible for the corporate benefit programs, I also worked as a generalist supporting the VP of HR. This company required a high amount of regulation and compliance as we worked with sensitive medical record data.

My favorite part of this job was being at the front lines with all our employees. I conducted all new hire orientations and took full responsibility for the onboarding processes which included complex background screening. We had a remote office in Ephriam, Utah, and I often traveled to their location to provide training and support. 

I was able to take ownership of our HRIS and learned a lot about the data side of HR and payroll. It was exciting to build my first attrition report in Excel and develop strategies to increase retention.
