Jise Africa, the DoorDash of Africa is a West Africa based venture backed shared logistics and food delivery platform that enables restaurants to effectively deliver their meals in the fastest possible time leveraging clusters of independent delivery personnel, while simultaneously enabling growth for restaurants via a connected marketplace. Leading a team of customer relationship management specialists, I created a dynamic and integrated customer support platform across social, web, phone and email that delivered over 99% customer satisfaction according to multiple surveys. Responsible for learning and development for all business units successfully achieving 95% customer retention. 


 •Team Hiring and Management: As the pioneer VP, I set up the customer service department and hired a customer service team serving multiple markets. We also had customer service personnel sitting at partner restaurants to supervise delivery. Team has consistently hit 97% customer satisfaction. 
•Team KPIS and OKRS: Responsible for working with individual company heads and HR to set up achievable SMART targets for the team.
•Company wide customer policies: Responsible for customer handbook, FAQs and other materials to ensure customers are properly served. Customers have judged our services to be extremely customer focused as a result of these policies 
•Customer support automation using Zendesk and Salesforce. 
Merchants and Restaurant engagement: As a company with important external stakeholders, my role involved liaising with external partners mostly restaurants to ensure their customer service framework matched ours and our customers are well served 
•Learning and development maps for all departments: Created tailor made learning maps to cover 2 year growth for our entire team. Each team member must undergo job related, soft skills and team cohesion  training every 6 months. Over 95% staff retention has been achieved

With operations in multiple markets, my role involved managing over 45 customer relationship associates delivering support  in over 6 languages. We consistently maintained over 96% customer satisfaction across all markets.

 •Team Hiring and Management: As head of CRM, I set up the multilingual customer service department and hired a customer service team serving multiple markets.. Team has consistently hit 96% customer satisfaction. . 
•Team KPIS and OKRS: Responsible for working with individual company heads and HR to set up achievable SMART targets for the team.
•Company wide customer policies: Responsible for customer handbook, FAQs and other materials to ensure customers are properly served. I visited individual markets and held customer forums to understand customer pain points factoring them into all company processes. 
•Stakeholder engagement: As a company with important external stakeholders like bus drivers, government officials and road managers, my role involved liaising with external partners to ensure our users had no issues.

We had over one million customers and above 50 customer service team members to serve that customer base.

As the largest ecommerce store in Africa at that point, I worked and managed a team that dealt with all issues related to the customer journey on the app and website. We had over 10 million users every month. My roles also involved hiring, training team members and reporting to senior management on performance.
