Digital Media Manager

Within this role I am involved in all aspects of channel management, handling multiple tasks on a daily basis competently and often under pressure.  Working closely with all departments my key responsibilities include the following:
Content Management: creating briefs and processing art work for bespoke content requests, processing insertion orders, quality control, proof reading, scheduling monthly programming and national campaigns, updating generic and bespoke content online, producing play-out reports for clients.
Accounts: Acting as accounts receivable for the network this involves raising invoices for monthly service fees, site installations and payment for advertising campaigns.  Processing commissions and overseeing royalty payments, managing the debt recovery process and monitoring payment trackers.
Sales and Advertising: Converting free sites to paying ones through the Introduction of monthly service fees. Negotiating rates and commissions and selling advertising space to local businesses upon referral.  Working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams by providing them with a snap shot of the network, constantly updating information and reporting on the status of the network e.g. connectivity rates, so that the Sales team have accurate information when pitching prospective clients.  
General / Customer Service: Alongside the coordination of the channel I am required to carry out general office and customer care duties such as basic technical support, tracking and solving site queries, enforcing contractual obligations, managing and nurturing client relationships, liaising with engineers, organising site visits, monitoring ad traffic, record keeping, recording meetings and answering calls and emails.

It was my duty to ensure that the onboard interactive systems displayed the correct information, played the correct media and that the delivery of all media files arrived with the airline on time. Involved in the process from start to finish I was required to; manage timelines, encoding schedules, creating status sheets, updating databases and tracking media shipments on a global scale. I managed five airline accounts - Virgin Atlantic, Singapore Airlines, KLM, Swiss Air and Etihad Airways, working closely with clients on a daily basis and making sure that all parties adhere to set deadlines.
