This past year has accelerated so many trends, including healthcare and company responsibility. For employers and their workforce, the goal of taking care of one’s health is now front and center. In addition,social responsibility is a pillar for all modern workplaces who want to appeal to a new generation, retain employees and to grow into 100 year old companies. The time is now for executives to step into their role of treating healthcare not simply as a cost to be managed, but rather as an investment in the company’s people. Executives are in the position to revolutionize a system that is still falling behind --despite how modern the rest of the company may be. I myself pivoted my career during Covid. I realized that I wanted more impact and legacy from my work, and not just the glamorous, pop culture focused partnerships world. I, along with other executives, are realizing that there is more to a career than the fluff we previously cared about, and that there is a deep social and ethical responsibility, one that executives have in their power to help sway and truly change people’s lives.
