• Responsible for recruiting high school students nationwide; assist high school students and families with the daunting admission process and complete outreach work to promote DePauw University.

• Managed recruitment of five-state territory; Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio (Cincinnati area), and Northern California; responsible for the matriculation of 1/5 of DePauw’s incoming class.

• Presented information sessions to over 150 high schools per year; read and make decisions on 300-400 applications per year. 

• Wrote and published student profile stories on university website; produced monthly Parent E-Newsletter, “@ DePauw”

• Conduct regional interviews with prospective students to enhance their level of interest in the University and to evaluate their academic readiness.

• Presented for 25+ college information nights/parent nights/college planning days throughout two  years. 

• Presented at workshops, retreats, and higher-ed seminars, to promote the DePauw brand nationwide.

Additional duties: Developing alumni networks; interviewing prospective students; initiating campaigns to encourage students to attend the university and promote DePauw; manage multiple on-campus events, arranging and conducting campus tours; conducting follow-up activities such as letter writing and phone calling; plan all travel and produce detailed itineraries.
