My position at Open English allowed me to connect and engage with a wide range of Spanish speaking students based in South and Central America. It gave me great pleasure to help them enhance their English language skills and open up new opportunities for the future.

As a Business Development Account Manager, I facilitated and supported the delivery of the technology solutions, while simultaneously building long lasting relationships with customers built on mutual trust and excellent service. I was also fortunate enough to contribute to the development of Bechtle's new sustainability strategy and goals as one of the UK representatives on the project. 

In this position I grew to understand  that empathy, transparency and hard work are key to meaningful business interactions. I also discovered a real passion for technology and its role as an enabling force for businesses (as well as the not for profit and public sectors). I was surrounded by people with a wealth of knowledge at Bechtle, and I was grateful to gain the opportunity to learn from them. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and feel enriched by the experience, thank you to all my former colleagues, customers and partners, it was a pleasure!

Cactus Navigation & Communication

In this role I was responsible for examining the possibility of Cactus partnering with a suitable marine conservation charity with a mission that the management team believed in. 

This involved shortlisting candidate organisations and communicating with the senior figures to assess the possibility of working together. I then produced a comprehensive report for the Managing Director of Cactus in which I made recommendations based on my research and interactions with various organisations. The report and recommendations also covered other environmentally focused activities within the business such as carbon accounting.
