In this role, I developed and maintained relationships with key clients, both existing and potential, and worked to secure new business for the company through the bidding process on tenders and contracts.

I also played a key role in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote the company and its products, and was responsible for managing the company's P&L for shareholders. This involved analyzing financial data, identifying opportunities for growth and cost savings, and making recommendations to senior management.

In addition, I developed rudimentary software to streamline and optimize various processes, helping the company to become more lean and efficient. This involved identifying areas of the business that could be improved through the use of technology, and developing or implementing solutions to address these needs.

Commercial Sales Manager

At Stearn, a leading electrical super distributor, I was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, both existing and potential. I identified and pursued new business opportunities, participated in sales meetings and presentations, assisted with the preparation of quotes and proposals, and provided exceptional customer service.

I also kept track of sales metrics and forecasted future sales, and attended industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the electrical industry.

To be successful in this role, I utilized my strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive and driven attitude, and basic knowledge of the electrical industry. I was able to work well in a team and independently, and was able to effectively contribute to the growth of the company.

Graduate Commercial Executive

RED Engineering

As a Mechanical Design Engineer in the nuclear industry, I was responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for use in nuclear facilities. This involved creating detailed technical drawings, specifications, and models, and ensuring that designs met all relevant safety and regulatory standards. I provided technical support to clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, and assisted with the procurement and installation of mechanical systems and components.

To be successful in this role, I utilized my strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, as well as my ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

I held a security clearance, which allowed me to access sensitive information and work on classified projects.
