The FREE NOW group is a ride hailing company backed by Daimler and BMW. 
I’ve been hired as a software developer and stepped into leadership. Since my promotion I’ve been helping, growing, mentoring, empowering and leading two multifunctional teams composed by people working in two different locations (Berlin and Hamburg).
Relevant achievements:

 - Autonomous Vehicles: My main goal has been growing the team from two to six developers and release Alpha Fleet in Berlin and San Jose (Venture Beat article: https://bit.ly/2UNKlYB)
 - Multi modality: Currently leading an agile team composed by four engineers. I’ve been involved in the hiring process, on-boarding and mentoring of the whole team. The goal is to integrate external mobility providers into the main FREE NOW application (e.g. VOI s-scooter: https://bit.ly/3kiJ1r7).
 - Monitoring: I’m part of the on-call team for the entire platform and I’m actively working on our monitoring system in order to improve stability, observability and a reliability for our services.

With Autonomous Team
 - worked with Daimler Autonomous Service to release the first private beta Berlin
 - helped my team developing a new backend used by the safe driver application

 - developed new features and pricing strategies
 - actively involved in the release and testing of PHV in Ireland

Software Engineer

Contactlab 

ContactLab is the company behind ContactSend, the #1 email marketing software used by top enterprises in Italy. ContactSend is part of a suite used by clients such as Adobe, Benetton, Expedia and Sky to engage with their customers across different channels (email, social, chat and SMS) in a unified way.
Relevant projects:

 - Developed new features on ContactSend and made big porting from legacy PHP version to Java 1.8 new architecture, working with a team of seven people. More than 98 million emails have been delivered by ContactSend during the 2017 Black Friday, best record achieved by the company in twenty years.
 - Worked with the team on the project Preview on Acid. A (micro) service used by the customers of ContactSend to check the rendering of their email campaign on different web browsers.
 - Currently working on ContactOne, a software service focused on one-to-one communication used by sales associates to engage with customers in real-time. ContactOne provides integrations with WeeChat, Line, Messenger, Telegram and WhatsApp.

Software Developer

Wellnet S.r.l.

Wellnet is a software company, focused on systems integration and custom software development services. Major clients include Doteco (industrial automation), Benetton (apparel), PwC and UniCredit (finance), LUISS University(higher education).
Relevant projects:

 - Developed a Java application used to monitor a plastic extrusion factory. The application is used to control the production cycle and provides a lot of real-time information such as the thickness of the plastic film, the temperature of the system and the alarms raised during the day.
 - Developed a library using frontend testing frameworks like Mocha and Protractor.
 - Supervised release cycle for software projects and conducted code reviews among developers.
 - Developed an API layer used to poll a great amount of data (8-10GB) from a shared document-oriented database.

I've worked in the IT department of UniCredit Bank as a software developer, mainly involved in projects related to Bank Austria. 
Relevant projects:

 - Development of the Virtual Portfolio section used by users to beat the stock market in a virtual sandbox.
 - Development of the API used for UniCredit Appathon 2015, a hackathon based in Milan, Vienna and Munich.

I've worked as a full stack developer for many companies while studying at University.
Relevant projects:

 - SocialX: An e-learning adaptive web application based on Lev Vygotskij’s learning models developed for the University of Rome.
 - Avvocati Web: A web application used by Italian lawyers to promote themselves online. More than 2000 subscribed lawyers in two years of activity.
 - Centurion: A social network for a football association based on gamification algorithms. The web application can manage more than 1200 tournaments each year, providing statistics, custom notifications, reminder and summaries used by football teams to improve their performance.
