Qwist, previously named finleap connect, is the leading Open Banking platform in DACH and Southern Europe regions, offering payments and account aggregation as a regulated PSD2 provider.
I was appointed Country Manager with responsibilities to grow Qwist’s PSD2 offering and revenues in Italy, through product and business development.

- Generated €2.5Mil annual recurring revenues on the Italian market.
- Managed a team of 25 people, in 3 different business units.
- Created partnership with NEXI to launch Italian PSD2 Connectivity.

Country Manager

Managed the White Label Products business unit, creating and scaling new products on top of Open Banking data, serving corporate customers across Europe.

- Created and grew the business unit to €1.5Mil revenues and to 15 FTEs.
- Launched Pay by Link to provide +200.000 users instant payments, free of charge for merchants.
- Managed the internationalization of Account Switch and Digibank, enabling +50.000 users connecting their accounts to switch banks and manage expenses seamlessly.

Managed one of the finleap studio squads in charge of creating new fintech startups and growing existing ones in the italian market.

- Set ground for the internationalization of Solaris, finleap’s unicorn company offering banking as a service infrastructure across Europe.
- Launched Reload Finance, a finleap Venture born to disrupt the salary backed loans market and generating over 1M€ during its first year live, later acquired (merge) by Qwist.
- Launched Beesy, a finleap venture focused on SME Banking, later acquired (exit) by Penta (now acquired by Qonto).

I started as a software engineer and grew to manager of the Digital Products team creating apps and content platforms for the most important pharmaceutical companies in the world.

- Created and grew the digital products to 5 people in 2 years, generating up to €5M in revenues sourced from digital projects after internal promotion in 2014.
- Increased Angelini portals traffic by 1100% through content analysis and SEO. 
- Rebuilt Pfizer Italy web presence enabling a new stream of €1M/year revenues.
