It’s these little things, like making the bed, washing dishes, washing your car that keep your brain alive longer.

Having multiple passports is super handy...

My girls have:

✔️ Australian Passport 🇨🇰 
✔️ British Residency due to Scottish ancestry 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 

They speak fluent French, Indonesian, some Japanese and a bit of Hindi 🇮🇳 

The world is their oyster! 🦪

All grown up and off to London / Europe for Schoolies Week!

Finishing VCE - Grade 12 was incredibly challenging for my youngest who spent most of swat vac (study break) at The Royal Children's Hospital with a nasal infection, complication of her Graves disease after iodine flushing for CT scans. 

It was hard to see posts about how well, healthy happy kids were doing in their exams this year - meanwhile, in our home - it was a very different story. 

We had to move her from her home, her pets and her friends in rural Victoria to be minutes from The Royal Children's Hospital

It all worked out in the end and she managed to finish her exams.. but it was very far from smooth sailing. 

Thank you Qantas for the upgrade to London today - everyone's favourite words "there has been a plane change and we need to upgrade you on your flight today!" ✈️

What a full-on first week back in India! 🇮🇳 

After two months in Melbourne, I landed back in Delhi to a long list of engagements. 

I must say, despite the pollution, it is so good to be back in this wonderful city, New Delhi. 

The smells, the chaos, the early winter - everything is looking so lovely. 

A lot to cram in before returning to Australia for Christmas with the girls 🎄

First time I witnessed Mother Ganga captured here by an LA Director in 2016...

The past few days my feed has been swamped with "wellness" summit pictures that have very little connection to the foundation of Wellness.

I am so grateful to be sitting in my Delhi home tonight, with a bowl of home made Dal after spending the day teaching breath work, booking media engagements (this week an article in the Hindustan Times), writing my TEDx talk and visiting INA Market. 

It is Thanksgiving in the US 🇺🇸 - and as many of my clients are American - I am honoured to share such ancient practices from the place where it all started, India 🇮🇳 

✔️ I am a wellness snob.

✔️ I do not want to do a yoga stretch fusion class in Florida by a sponsored influencer in hot pink barely there clothing. 

✔️ I do not want to attend drinking sessions in Dubai. 

Wellness is not a commodity - it is a way of life.

We are on this planet once 🌎 

We have one body 🧘🏽 

Let's cut the BS and get back to basics 📿

Ten years on...

I unexpectedly hosted a Film Director friend from LA last week who got stuck in Delhi for four days due to a one day overstay on her Indian Visa 🇮🇳 

Thank you to Louis Sailer and the wonderful team at The Imperial who came to her rescue 🙏🏽 

Justine was here for a yoga retreat in Varanasi, we were roomies at Parmath Ashram in 2016 for a two month Yoga course and she had no idea how difficult it was to get an exit visa to leave India 🇮🇳 

A change in travel planes and clock ticking over midnight left her stranded, helpless, very stressed and in the end, quite financially broken. 

Immigration is becoming challenging globally, some call it the "Trump Effect" but I have heard story after story, including my own struggle in recent weeks.

It is not easy to just jump on a plane and visit a country anymore ✈️ 

There has to be a purpose.

There has to be box checking.

There has to be questioning.

Even for me, I was asked to "prove I was who I was". 

I had to pull documents from old courses and references from the best Yogis' in the world.

It was so heart warming to hear praise from my peers, and even getting in touch with my last post graduate course Swinburne University of Technology - which was a lovely experience.

They were all so excited I was coming to India to do a TEDx talk! 

Even then, you can be singled out for no reason, just a random number pulled aside to be interrogated. 

My neighbour who teaches Indian dance in Paris - born in the USA - always got a 5 year Schengen for France.

This time, was given 6 months.

Friends, visiting Thailand, randomly refused a visa - lakhs in accomodation and flights gone.

And Australia, do not even get me started on how a simple Christmas vacation can turn into a nightmare of cancelling flights and presents under the tree unopened 🎄 

The whole point of travel, is to connect.

Communities are currently being divided by rules and regulations of innocent people.

I know a lovely Indian family who's son is Chef at one of the top restaurants in Auckland who applied for tourist visas to spend last Christmas with their son.

His 24 year old brother was denied after lakhs spent and multiple applications.

Even the NZ High Commissioner David Pine at the time, was left helpless.

Christmas for this 24 year was spent alone in Delhi.

Let's get people where they need to be.

The world is to be enjoyed, not segregated.

Delhi has received poor marks in the pollution stakes for 2025...

As you can see from this chart - Delhi had ZERO "healthy" air quality days this year.

I read a post here on LinkedIn this week stating "what's the point in being the Top 4 wealthiest country - if you cannot breath the air and drink the water"

They had a point.

Please note, the statistics below are for the Delhi Golf Links and Delhi Zoo area which is surrounded by nature.

There are some parts of Delhi today where the AQI has hit the 1000 mark.
