My greatest desire is to share my passion of learning with others-to ignite a fire that has never been lit- to encourage a confidence that has never been felt- to empower and enable others to reach their highest potential. It is through my journey as an educator that my passion for teaching others has continued to grow immensely, and a new passion of training adults has taken the wheel. My time as an educator has taught me many valuable lessons. It has challenged me to think outside the box, to revamp ideas, to not just “see” but to understand different perspectives, and to never become complacent. I believe that understanding who is in the audience, assessing the varying needs of the audience, and creating an inclusive, engaging environment, are the key factors needed to effectively create content and training that ensures all learners grasp and are confident with the material covered. With my background in public education, coaching, and playing collegiate sports, I know how to motivate, inspire, lead, and challenge those around me to rise to greater heights. I thrive in a fast paced environment where meeting tight deadlines and paying attention to small details are imperative. I am a team player who has a deep understanding of how to unite a group to work together effectively despite differences. Identifying innovative approaches and improved solutions to business challenges both motivate and drive me. A wordsmith at heart, I have superb verbal and written skills. I enjoy creating exciting lessons, trainings, and presentations that engage all learners. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach and understand the importance of capturing the attention and minds of a diverse audience. I am adamant and determined about building a repertoire of technology strategies in order to create optimal learning experiences and never becoming stagnant.
