Selling, building and merchandising Women’s and Children’s footwear collections for private labels and 

Broad perception of the product lifecycle process from market/trend research, design inception,  sales and marketing, wholesale operations, manufacturing/logistics and sales anaylsis

Manage creative direction of branded and private label businesses to ensure all 
sales reps execute company mandate 

Shop internationally to identify emerging fashion trends in the global marketplace; interpret current market knowledge and seasonal trends to help build private label and branded collections that reflect each retailer’s needs 

Prepare fashion direction and current market trends including relevant colors, materials and prints; presenting to retailers and indicating ‘must have’ key items

Work with buyers locally and at trade shows to build relevant program buys based on their target customers, retail objectives and margin goals

Responsible for all creative artwork including brand artwork, logos and conceptual footwear design. Worked exclusively to re-fresh company image (re-design of promotional materials and stationery) 

Assembling sales reports and monitoring sell- thru of merchandise at store level to ensure anniversary business is exceeded 

Problem solving through communicating and negotiating daily with overseas suppliers to ensure quality is achieved and product fit/grading is accurate 

Seasoned business traveller- considerable travel across North America, Europe and Asia
