RAC WA

As a purpose-led member organisation, we reinvest our profits to serve our more than one million members and the wider WA community.

As a Content Coordinator, my responsibilities included:
- Creating and distributing content for our social channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
- Writing long-form articles for our website 
- Liaising with various Business Units and external stakeholders to promote initiatives and highlight RAC's involvement in the WA community. 
- Lead weekly content meetings

Content Coordinator

As a Marketing Assistant, my responsibilities included:
- Contribute to the design of strategies and tactics to increase brand awareness and lead generation
- Develop and improve marketing automation including lead nurturing campaigns
- Create and coordinate content across all owned and paid channels 
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns from implementation to execution 
- Manage organic and paid acquisition channels
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners and stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Sales teams, ensuring alignment and that they have the toolkit required
- Measure and report performance of marketing activities, gain insight and assess against goals

Marketing Assistant

Managing over 60 different clients in my region. With a focus on building trust and an understanding of each individual client to better service their specific needs.

Responsibilities
- Being the key contact for any issues incurred by the customer ranging from logistic issues, operational management and compliance
- Providing opportunities for customers to achieve greater margin, and negotiate on price and presence in the market
- Effectively prioritising customer calls in a disciplined and timely manner to achieve maximum call rates and growth within the marketplace
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with key decision makers
- Travelling to once a month to engage with customers and stakeholders, and manage all sales activities in the region

Territory Manager

I managed all sales, marketing and event sponsorship requirements for the state, reporting to the Regional Field Manager. 

Responsibilities
- Working within the State Leadership Team in a marketing and administrative capacity
- Liaise with the internal marketing department based in Melbourne, to plan, execute and support all branding and communications to the sales team in the state
- Coordination of social media content with external marketing agencies 
- Execute marketing campaigns and promotions with external marketing agencies 
- Manage and support internal communications with the sales team in the execution of sales activities and market insights
- Provide general administration support and assistance to the Sales Leadership team, reporting to the Regional Field Manager for the state
- Manage Regional Field Managers calendar as required (schedule meetings etc.)
- Conduct detailed performance analysis and reports for the Sales Leadership team on a weekly basis
- Maintenance and distribution of KPI reports
- Coordinate WIP (Work in Progress) meetings and manage WIP documents to track the development of projects
- Coordinating every aspect of event planning for campaigns and promotional work. Events included the Busselton Iron Man and Rottnest Channel Swim which catered to over 10, 000 people
- Manage event budget and keep within budget requirements
- Organise team building days and social events, including catering, transport, venue hire and seating arrangements.

State Admin Executive

Manage organisations media platforms and be the key spokesperson at all events

Responsibilities
- Creating engaging content for the organisations social media platforms
- Managing website content and blog posts
- Presenting to primary school students about the importance of good hygiene, and educating about meningococcal disease 
- Being the point of contact at all events to promote our organisations message
- Identify potential promotional opportunities and events
- Led a team of staff at all events 
- Regularly producing and managing content for the organisations social media platforms.
- I was able successfully double the amount of Instagram followers in my first week, increased Facebook traffic by 25% and increased the overall number of followers by half.
- Write media releases for local newspapers.

How lucky am I? To say I genuinely love my job, to be given countless opportunities to learn new skills, and work in an amazing team of highly skilled, dedicated individuals. 

I am one of the lucky ones. 
My background is marketing, having spent majority of my junior years writing blogs, emails and social media posts. I was fortunate enough to work on promoting some large scale events, and learn the fundamentals of campaign management. 

I've now had the privilege to grow into a more product focused role. It's sparked a new light in me, allowing me to discover new territory and learn new skills. Understanding how consumers use tech, how our product can solve their big problems, and how to make the customer experience better.
