I’m a marketing professional on an exciting journey. I am career-driven, motivated in the most powerful way: by personal goals. Where do I see myself in five years? Holding the keys to my own home while my dog patrols his kingdom (aka the garden). 🔑🏡 I didn’t have experience in sales or any knowledge of furniture, yet I helped an independent retailer open their doors to the public for the first time and develop into a highly successful business. 🛋🌟 I didn’t go to a public school or a Russell Group university, yet I landed my first full time marketing role at a prestigious fee-paying school; one of just four music schools in England, without a background in music. 🎼⚡️ I don’t have a degree in marketing, yet I’ve discovered a passion for a profession I’m determined to make a mark in, and I’m excited for many more “yet”s. 👩🏻‍💻🚀 In my spare time I’ve taken on additional marketing experience by voluntarily designing graphics and running the social media for my local cricket club, thereby developing brand familiarity and consistency through a recognised colour scheme, schedule and layout. 📲🏏 I’ve also established a personal brand on #crickettwitter with a following of over 2000 by tweeting about my love for the sport; I am a member at Somerset County Cricket Club, I play for my local women’s team and I am qualified as a Foundation Level I coach.
