I am a Financial Planner at Blue Sky Financial Planning Ltd. I am passionate about helping people and I feel this is a big part of our company culture. Within my role, I create bespoke financial plans, and it is always a lovely feeling when we get to tell our clients they can retire early or go on that extra holiday. I feel financial planning is a key element when it comes to people really understanding their money and planning for their future. Our company essence is 'live the life you want'. How many of you are really doing this? In our experience, not many! Other parts of my role allow me to research and respond with what is happening within the financial world and part of this is keeping my own knowledge up to date. You are always learning something new in this profession. I am also Blue Sky's protection specialist, another area I am passionate about, ensuring people are adequately financially protected. We never know what is round the corner but with some careful planning we can ensure that when life does through a curveball we can be prepared for at least some of them. In my spare time, I am part of my local musical theatre choir and enjoy performing and taking part in competitions.
