I am the Divisional Lead for the Commercial Division of Forbes Solicitors LLP and a Partner in the Firm. As Divisional Lead I am responsible for overseeing the delivery of the commercial legal services, business development, and operational management within the Commercial Division working closely with the Commercial Heads of Department and their teams in corporate, commercial, commercial litigation, property litigation, commercial property, commercial employment, insolvency and debt recovery. Forbes Divisional approach aims to bring greater expertise to our services, further strategic growth and enhanced collaboration across the Divisions all whilst ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed our clients' expectations. I am responsible for the strategic direction of the commercial legal services. I also maintain key client and referrer relationships on behalf of the firm. I take a dynamic and pragmatic approach to finding workable commercial solutions. I am highly driven and valued not only as an employment lawyer, but also as a business adviser who is accessible and attentive. Prior to my appointment as Divisional Lead I was the Head of Commercial Employment in the Employment, HR and Business Immigration Team based across Lancashire, Manchester and Leeds at Forbes Solicitors LLP. I have considerable experience and expertise throughout employment law practice, having advised and assisted private sector clients, from local SMEs to large multinational PLCs for over 20 years. I have particular expertise in the manufacturing and construction industries, as well as the hospitality and retail sectors. I am a Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer. I also have the privilege of being a Trustee for Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone.
