I​ ​have​ ​set​ ​up​ ​and​ ​delivered​ ​a​ ​Portfolio​ ​Management​ ​Office​ ​to​ ​service a​ ​diverse​ ​and​ ​fast​ ​paced​ ​IT​ ​department​ ​at​ ​Sanctuary​ ​housing,​ ​whilst maintaining​ ​a​ ​programme​ ​office​ ​to​ ​service​ ​a​ ​first​ ​in​ ​sector​ ​ERP implementation.
Using​ ​a​ ​gap​ ​analysis​ ​of​ ​the​ ​current​ ​service,​ ​and​ ​a​ ​road​ ​map​ ​for delivery​ ​I​ ​expanded​ ​the​ ​temporary​ ​Programme​ ​Management​ ​office into​ ​a​ ​permanent​ ​Portfolio​ ​Management​ ​office​ ​encompassing portfolio​ ​wide​ ​resourcing,​ ​risk,​ ​methodologies​ ​and​ ​document libraries,​ ​assurance,​ ​change​ ​and​ ​release,​ ​test​ ​management,​ ​budget and​ ​financial​ ​planning,​ ​governance,​ ​and​ ​continuous​ ​improvement.
The​ ​road​ ​map​ ​I​ ​put​ ​in​ ​place​ ​has​ ​been​ ​responsible​ ​for​ ​taking​ ​the services​ ​provided​ ​from​ ​average​ ​maturity​ ​level​ ​1​ ​to​ ​Maturity​ ​level​ ​3 with​ ​areas​ ​hitting​ ​maturity​ ​4​ ​such​ ​as​ ​resource​ ​management​ ​and finance.​ ​Sanctuary​ ​now​ ​have​ ​an​ ​established​ ​and​ ​renowned​ ​Portfolio service​ ​which​ ​is​ ​seen​ ​as​ ​the​ ​centre​ ​of​ ​excellence​ ​for​ ​all​ ​project, programme,​ ​and​ ​portfolio​ ​related​ ​services.​ ​I​ ​have​ ​been​ ​invited​ ​to feed​ ​into​ ​PMO​ ​related​ ​papers​ ​and​ ​have​ ​recently​ ​been​ ​doing​ ​work with​ ​PWC​ ​to​ ​share​ ​knowledge​ ​and​ ​lessons​ ​with​ ​some​ ​of​ ​their​ ​clients specialising​ ​in​ ​PMO​ ​set​ ​up,​ ​and​ ​transition​ ​of​ ​services​ ​from programme​ ​into​ ​BAU​ ​state.

Portfolio Management Office (PMO) Manager

I was accountable for the design stage of the Customer Interaction work area within a large scale first in sector SAP implementation. Managing a team of consultants and business leads I designed and approved build specifications for the Customer Interaction Centre CRM module of SAP. I had delegated authority on behalf of the four sponsors and was responsible for all design and business change decisions regarding the implementation of the SAP Customer Interaction Centre (CIC) including reporting structure, business process, strategy and KPI’s.

This role involved exercising LEAN decision making to meet key milestones in line with the accelerated programme.  I reported directly to the sponsors, programme board and strategic board using my excellent communication skills. I built up excellent working relationships with both key stakeholders internally and consultants within the programme, using skills gained through my coaching to identify and tailor my approach to different personality types.

My stakeholder management skills were key to my success in this role, representing over 6000 employees to be effected by the CIC roll out allowed me to demonstrate my ability to balance key stakeholder management with efficient and timely decision making.

SAP Business Process Owner/ Business Owner/ Change Manager (Customer Interaction)

Currently Managing large scale change projects within the Sanctuary Housing Programme Delivery Team. I have been involved with managing several large scale projects including the implementation of mobile technology, process re-engineering, ASB system requirement definition and implementation and Contact Centre set up. Alongside this I am currently involved in writing the Internal Project Management course for Sanctuary.

Business Analyst/Project Manager

My role within the I.S Change Team involved scoping, developing and implementing new systems and processes from end to end to meet business needs. 
          I implemented a full ‘contact manager’ system for the groups Contact Centre; this involved taking an existing product owned by Sanctuary, re-working all the scoped processes to make them fit business needs and  changing staff’s perceptions of a previous build  on the system to get the system live and fit for purpose. The system had to be in place within a tight deadline due to a critical business need. The system was successfully built, signed off and live in 3 months. I completed all of this single handedly with a knowledge transfer from a consultant, who left prior to ‘go live’  - this demonstrates my ability to work in pressured situations independently. I regularly presented to management including director level and reported effectively to all involved.

The key purpose of my role as a business analyst was to provide support to the ongoing change and business improvements within Children's Services and to ensure teams have the necessary systems and processes in place to ensure compliance with national statutory requirements.
Within my role I met with Children’s services teams to process map their current processes (utilising Visio) and then recommend and implement efficiencies following the full life cycle of a project. I worked to configure systems to meet the requirements of each team. The main systems I worked with and configured are the ONE educational system, Frameworki social care system, and eStart. I have also worked with Instant Atlas, Business Objects, Crystal and SAP. 
           Alongside system based projects I have managed non-IT projects these include reviewing Worcestershire County Council’s Service Access Request, Data Protection and Freedom of information policies and process’s to develop cross-directorate work steams. All projects were completed to the Prince 2 framework from the point of initial contact with the team through to training the team and reviewing implementation of the proposed process.

My main duties were managing projects within the Commissioning and Quality Sector of Children’s services and assisting teams with administrative functions. My functions varied greatly from general admin duties such as meeting requests, event organisation, filing, data collation and analysis of data to regular roles such as dealing with Freedom of Information Request and Service Access requests.

As Office Manager I set up EnCert Limited (a Home Information Pack and Energy Performance Certificate company) contacting all potential clients and securing business. I ran the business organizing all appointments dealing with the process of the Home Information Packs, budgeting, completing and compiling floor plans, dealing with clients, potential clients and meetings. I also dealt with all complaint procedures and staff problems. Further to all my admin roles I also set up and ran the website for the company. Following my accreditation as a Domestic Energy Assessor I proceeded to complete energy assessments for the company alongside detailed floor plans.

I ran a chalet for 16 people cooking three meals a day including a 3 course meal in the evening, cleaning the chalet and organizing all the stock and budget. My role also included organizing and helping on transferee days which sometimes amounted to up to 20hour days.
