EdAssist by Bright Horizons

Advise and assist employees of corporate clients who partner with EdAssist by Bright Horizons. Provide employees with guidance on trending careers, and educational providers while leveraging the company's tuition assistance program. The focus is on finding the most economical and efficient solutions for employees to complete their chosen degree, certificate or certification. Primary caseload of hospital clients, focusing on healthcare pathways and supporting hospital needs. Also responsible for promoting the Bright Horizons network of negotiated discounts at accredited colleges and universities to help employers and employees save time, and money when appropriate. Work closely with the client relations team to understand hospital needs and create protocols that meet the organizational needs of the client while supporting employees. Research and develop skills/programs and accompanying resources on popular choices and industry-specific options based on client needs. Participate in new client launches to help educate prospective clients on the value and role of academic support. Development of reports for clients based on data to provide sound educational decisions. Curate webinars and blogs on in demand educational topics, while hosting webinars for our clients.

Manager, Academic & Student Support - EdAssist 

University of South Florida

Responsible for oversight, planning, and execution of the admission processes for all undergraduate programs in the College of Nursing. Provided leadership and management for the college's admissions recruiter advisers, enrollment management specialist, and other admissions staff. Managed systems and processes for communication with prospective applicants and the timely evaluation of student credentials. Created engaging and informative programming for prospective students. Lead the collaborative effort with the university office of admissions and students affairs office to develop and launch a Freshmen Entry Pathway for incoming FTIC students. Worked closely with FTIC students and families as we transitioned to a freshmen entry program. Also, lead a collaborative effort with other university majors to educate advisors on the new program and assisted with student advising.

Assistant Director, Admissions College of Nursing

Participated in new client sales to help educate prospective clients on the value and role of academic support. Development of specific reports for clients based on data and outcomes and request. Oversaw policy experts assigned to my direct client load.

The 2017 World Rowing Championships

Internship with the World Rowing Championship Committee in determining sustainability initiatives and providing guidance. Full Proposal and Final Project provided.

Internship

Handled administrative and operational functions/tasks associated with the Baccalaureate Program including, but not limited to, those relevant to academic instruction and recruitment, accreditation evaluation, program development, program planning coordination and implementation, operations, and evaluation. Served on multiple academic, faculty, and student committees on behalf of the undergraduate program. Gathered, aggregated, and/or analyzed quantitative and qualitative data to produce reports. Also assisted with the coordination of developing, processing, and submitting new courses for approval within the undergrad program. Facilitated the preparation, review, and edits to materials such as the student handbook, website, and university catalog. Assisted in the development of a new curriculum framework for the accelerated nursing program and traditional bachelor of science in nursing degree.

Academic Services Administrator, Undergraduate Program - College of Nursing

Advised a student population of 200-300 pre-licensure nursing students. Served the pre-licensure population in the areas of academic advising, career planning, graduation certification, Florida Board of Nursing Certification, and degree audits. Coordinated tutoring for students in the pre-licensure program and monitored progression issues. Communicated university, college, and clinical policies to students, faculty, and staff as needed. Assisted in the redevelopment of a new student orientation program, and implementing a more efficient process for students. Served as interim advisor to the RN-BSN Program in  and the CRNA academic programs. Had the opportunity to work with the implementation and launch of the V-CARE Nursing Program.

Academic Advisor Nursing 

Academic Foundations SLS 2901 is a three-credit, discussion-based introductory seminar designed to facilitate students' successful acclimation to the university, development of academic strategies, and exploration of careers and majors. The course aims to prepare students for a successful college experience and provides students with the necessary knowledge and experiences to be academically and personally success at USF

Adjunct Professor

A first year "student success" course. In seminars, small groups discuss the academic qualities necessary to succeed at USF: test-taking and study skills, time management, writing, critical thinking, computer and library resources, career planning and USF policies.

DeVry University

Advised a student population of 500-600 students in both graduate and undergraduate studies across multiple degree programs. Assisted in coaching students with academic difficulties and determining the best course of action. Assisted center dean with policies and operational issues on a day to day basis. Monitored attendance in courses to conduct preventative advising and or determine the best course of action for students. Conducted reports analyzing student progression issues and retention. Worked closely with the Academic Dean to monitor students on probation and ensure the action plan created was being followed.  Coordinated new student orientation for all incoming students every 5 weeks. Developed and implemented the very first Dean's List Brunch Award Ceremony for the Tampa East Campus. Spearheaded a Tampa Campus-wide Senior Day.

Student Success Coach II/Academic Adviser

Evergreen EAGLE

Supervised a team of 10 - 15 agents during the operation of 2 - 4 International flights. Responsible for the full turnaround operation of all inbound flights handled by EAGLE. Duties included overseeing the off-loading and unloading of passengers, catering, baggage, fuel, cargo, cleaning, and passenger check-in desk. Assisted in on boarding new employees and training in all positions of the operation as required. Conducted HR pre-screening, payroll input, and interview for open positions. Coordinated all passenger service paperwork, flight plan, catering, weight and balance order for outbound flights prior to departure. Trained in emergency response for inbound or outbound flight issues that required full-scale implementation.
