Princess America is one of the new breed of media artists that writes performs, records and releases material completely autonomously. Starting as a D.J. on the London Underground dance music scene & raving since 1989 thruout UK, playing house, garage, tecno, happy hardcore & jungle DnB thru out 1990's & deciding to follow her dreams making music into the new millennium. Learning to produce, engineer, program beats, sound design & synthesis, mixing and mastering by night whilst honing guitar playing, singing and songwriting skills by ‘day’ performing the music live, turning pro in 2008 & now 15th year self employment as a musician! Music embraces all styles from pop to country rock to vocal house, trance, trap and is both fresh and new tho echoing classic music from other eras & released first streaming albums 2015 & next 5 on Bandcamp :) After several successful shows in Green Fields at Glastonbury Festival in 2008 and 2016 & also performing vocals on Hawkwind’s ‘Space Jam’ that same year with extensive promotional shows in Trafalgar and Leicester sqs in the heart of Londons west end past decade & now in 3rd year licensed residency, as well as 9 year weekly residency Portobello, Notting Hill, 7 years in Primrose Hill, Camden along with involvement in local music studio & also Hammersmith performing over 2000 times to 100,000’s happy customers! . Also a trained actor who studied theater before taking up music and played lead roles in Shakespeare to Grease in local theatre 1990’s. Attended a CSA casting & secured a place at AADA for advanced actor training in 2018 & working on extensive projects including a hexalogy of movies, in continuing stages of production and other theatrical and musical productions in development, as well as expanding research into acting theory and practice from a ‘Psyco-Jungian’ perspective & future cinema.. As the CEO of Empress Corps there is also a strong pursuance of research into technology projects which include VR/AR, Quantum Technology and its future applications ,developing digital media platforms with specific reference to the media sector but also finance, business and governmental sectors and their design & implementation thru AI & the blockchain which is enabled by a keen interest in technology, business and law studied at London Met. university. In her spare time she enjoys mountain running, distance cycling, watching movies and sleeping. Thanks Princess :)
