As an ICT professional having worked as a data officer, solution & data architect, data engineer, team lead, project manager, pre-sales engineer, software engineer, performance test engineer, content creator, and technical trainer with 25 years of experience in different countries, I’ve been involved in many domains, projects, and technologies. My activities included Solution Architecture, Data Governance, Data Modeling, Data Quality & Data Catalog Design, Project Management, Software Engineering for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Cloud Computing, as well as Performance Test Engineering and Big Data solution architecture. I’ve worked international enterprise IT, space industry, original object storage technology development, telecom systems, media, e-learning, computer assisted language teaching, and medical informatics. I’m comfortable with communicating at the CxO level with executives and at the technical level with software & data architects, engineers, researchers, and PhD-level data scientists, in multinational environments and research settings. Having worked in international projects, I’m also comfortable building & leading teams, and managing projects by focusing on value streams and agile methodologies. Before founding TM Data ICT Solutions, I was the first Data Officer in an international manufacturing environment, my objective was to act as the reliable bridge between different business teams and IT, to enable data-driven ways of business value creation using Agile project management, industrial IoT systems, Data Lake analytics, Machine Learning, visualization, data modelling, data quality, data management, and cloud computing. With respect to technology, my recent work utilized spaCy and Python for Natural Language Processing, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, CrateDB, DuckDB, Nutanix, Apache Superset, SaltStack, IBM InfoSphere Information Governance Catalog, SAP PowerDesigner, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Amazon Mechanical Turk REST API, Microsoft Azure, NoSQL solutions such as Cassandra, petabyte-scale S3-compatibleobject storage systems such as HGST Active Archive (acquired by Western Digital), Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, and Natural Language Processing & Semantic Web data pipelines in Spark, using Java,Python and Scala.
