In the late 1990s, I was climbing the corporate ladder within a multinational corporation. During this time, I was presented with an opportunity to participate in a 3-day internal program on negotiation, which eventually evolved into an intensive 9-month workshop. To cut to the chase, I eventually decided to leave my corporate job and fully immerse myself in the role of a Negotiation Consultant. During this transformative period, I came to realize that effective negotiation skills are not innate but can be developed. Challenging my preconceived notions about negotiation and embracing unconventional ideas and best practices often overlooked in collaborative negotiations inspired me to assist others in becoming better negotiators and achieving more favorable outcomes in their professional and personal lives. In addition to my extensive career as a senior executive in Marketing, Operations, and technology, I have also worked as a consultant and negotiation facilitator for prominent corporations and teams across Latin America, North America, and Europe. Additionally, I've had the privilege of teaching MBA and EMBA students at universities in Colombia and Ecuador. I'm deeply enthusiastic about leveraging technology and knowledge to enhance results in both straightforward processes and complex decision-making scenarios. Outside of my professional endeavors, my passion for the outdoors, particularly mountain biking, led me to become a Partner and Director at a specialized outdoor gear retailer in South America. More importantly, it allowed me to build meaningful friendships with fellow riders, with whom I enjoy sharing memorable rides, savoring fine wine, and sipping on quality coffee – typically in that order.
