Account Manager - Business Development

Jubilee Insurance

•	To spearhead the growth of the regional health insurance bancassurance business portfolio ensuring consistent achievement and surpassing of set business targets.
•	To establish and nurture a long term client relationships, ensuring high standards of customer service and 100% retention of existing businesses.
•	To execute day-to-day Insurance operations including underwriting, preparing quotations, new customer acquisition, health claims management, renewal management, and assuring timely premium collections. 
•	To identify training needs and collaborate with the Head office to develop a comprehensive training calendar to enhance skills and capabilities of banks bancassurance and non bancassurance officers. 
•	Gathering regular market intelligence to keep updated on product offerings and competitors. 
•	Maintain accurate records and reports of all insurance transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with a regulatory requirements.
•	To champion the delivery of seamless and trusted customer service driving the customer retention and loyalty. 
•	Ensure 100% of customer enquiries are resolved promptly as per laid down policies and procedures and assisting clients to manage their health plans.

Regional Bancassurance Sales Officer (Health Insurance) - North- Rift 

SMEP Microfinance Bank

•	Executed day to day Bancassurance operations which entailed underwriting, claims administration and management, customer service, account functions including remittance, refunds as well as timely sharing of renewal list and notices.
•	Enhanced processing of claims through effective follow up with the insurers and regular communication to the customers, branch managers and customer service team.
•	Managed all walk in claims customers and administered service delivery as per the service level agreements.
•	Increased TAT on policy processing from 24 hours to less than 6 hours in collaboration with the respective insurer.

Relationship officer - Bancassurance 

•	Supported in the 80% growth and operations of Alternative business channel products e.g., card business, POS acquiring, LNM merchants acquiring, mobile banking and Agency banking. 
•	Analyzed daily agents and merchant’s applications for approval and set up, adhering to all bank regulations, AML and KYC as per the CBK guidelines.
•	Monitored daily usage of alternative channels and analyzes performance to guide in the achievement of monthly targets.
•	Conducted daily reconciliation of merchant transactions for further postings
•	Prepared daily merchants report for the managerial and branch consumption to aid in increasing uptake.
•	Promoted high ethical and integrity standards and establish a culture within the bank demonstrating to all personnel the importance of control.
•	Ensured team work to achieve consistent profitability through a clear process of target setting.
•	Conducted regular ABC products training to staffs across the branches on the digital channels.
