Provides data governance and reporting as part of the Enterprise Data Strategy Governance and Oversight team during the annual data/records policy and standards refresh.  Analyzes risk policies to identify defects and works with stakeholders to correct the defects and become adherent to the policy and standards.

Data Governance Analyst

• The Control Management team is responsible for engaging with the relevant business groups to identify, assess, manage and mitigate current and emerging risk exposures associated with their activities and operations.

• Responsible for the monitoring and reporting of the status of issues and action plans.

• Worked in conjunction with business and risk-aligned control teams, this role provided insight for business and control leadership into key issues such that management has adequately evaluated root causes, identified appropriate action plans, and is delivering to plan or where additional resources may be required/

Senior Control Management Specialist

In this role I led the daily quality meetings to review shift performance, identify gaps, and apply Continuous Improvement methods to achieve zero-loss goals. I analyzed, prepared, and reviewed data to identify needs for operational improvements and communicate those results, plans, and change initiatives to associate and management teams.

Organized and co-authored five focused improvement projects to reduce waste from freight processing times. Decreased processing times by 15%,  saving the company $100,000 in one six-month period. 

Managed large data sets while creating and running complex data analysis to improve audit processes that led to an 85% efficiency rating, up from 60%. 

Structured and analyzed data using pivot tables and tableau dashboards to determine progress on continuous improvement projects and the KPIs for an organization of 1000+ associates.

Implemented value stream mapping techniques within the department that drove inspection time down by ten minutes per trailer, which gained 90 total minutes per shift each day.

Hired, trained, and managed  Quality Assurance team of up to nine associates, resulting in effective integration of processes that led to a 10% decrease in inventory adjustments.

Mentored nine associates, providing feedback to augment skills/knowledge, leading to 91% increase in work performance.

Conducted audits on inventory capacity to maintain accurate count within the 99.6% quality standard.

Organized and analyzed data to determine progress on individual initiatives and overall programs in service of 700+ customers.
