Erica was appointed by Stagwell, a digital-first holding company, to lead a start-up agency, Wye Communications.  Erica was responsible for building a high-performing leadership team, hiring team members across all communication disciplines, winning new business and leading key accounts.  Wye Communications successfully grew agency over five years including serving accounts such as: Wintrust Bank, Pioneer Natural Resources, Radisson Hotel Group and C.H. Robinson.  Wyecomm, as part of Stagwell, went public in 2021 and, in 2022, was merged with KWT Global, a mid-size PR agency serving corporate and consumer clients.

Served as Midwest Market Leader in the Chicago office of Burson-Marsteller elevating visibility, sourcing and winning new business, securing top talent and managing staff.  As Managing Director and leader of the brand marketing practice in Chicago, responsibilities included managing staff utilization, growth and well-being.  Also, provided strategic counsel, program development and implementation, media relations and consumer engagement. Key accounts included Discover Financial Services, Havi Global Solutions and Hormel Foods.

Erica served as an Executive Vice President and led digital strategies in the Chicago office and as a senior crisis and media relations leader for the Porter Novelli network.  Erica supervised the firm’s account teams and was responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications programs that supported global client business success.  Erica served as the Client Relationship Leader for Monster Worldwide and led the corporate communications programs for Schneider National, Penske, McDonald’s and Harman International.  Erica’s past experience included leading strategic communications planning and media relations for healthcare, transportation and technology companies.

Under Erica’s leadership, EBS became a leading public relations agency in the Midwest representing business-to-business and consumer technology clients. She was responsible for client acquisition, overall agency management and serving key agency accounts.  Omnicom acquired EBS Public Relations, Inc. in January 2000.

Current and former clients have included national business-to-business, consumer, healthcare, transportation and technology brands including Lidl, TGI Fridays, BRP Can-Am Spyder,  McDonald's, Havi Global Solutions, Discover Financial Services, Harman International, Cars.com and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.  My broad experience includes leading new business efforts, executive counsel and visibility, managing global accounts, executing high-profile product launches as well as building key relationships, winning new business and managing and retaining top talent.
